JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department said a 25-year-old Joliet man suffered serious injuries to his legs when he lost control of his Suzuki motorcycle on East Washington Street at 4:40 p.m. Friday.

The Joliet man was on his Suzuki motorcycle, traveling eastbound on East Washington Street near Henderson Avenue when he veered across the westbound lanes of East Washington Street and struck an iron fence and an unoccupied vehicle near a house in the 700 block of East Washington Street.

The 25-year-old was thrown from his from the motorcycle, and he suffered serious injuries to his legs. A Joliet Fire Department ambulance rushed him to the Ascension St Joseph Medical Center.
