WESTFIELD — Pine Hill Cemetery’s retired superintendent and board member Dale M. Dickson, and office manager Kali Fantakis, came before the Community Preservation Committee on April 14 with a request for funding to replace the wrought-iron fence at the private, nonprofit cemetery, which was ultimately successful.

Fantakis said they had gotten three bids for the fence work, but couldn’t come up with the funding for it.
